Minnesota Firewood is a family owned and operated business. It was formed when Tretter's Firewood located in Little Falls, MN purchased Stinar's Firewood Company located in Bagley, MN. In 2024 we are still serving clients that first purchased in 1948 and also serving 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation family members. Our goal here at Minnesota Firewood is to be known as a household name. We specialize in Premium Quality Firewood for home heating, fireplace burning and BBQ cooking wood needs. Our wood is kiln dried and heat treated to perfection. 

These days you have to be careful which company you get your firewood from; so you don't get diseased, bug-ridden wood that can infest your homes. Bugs found in firewood can contaminate a whole neighborhood!

Here at Minnesota Firewood, we are looking out for you, your neighborhood and your state. We always practice good firewood management even before the invasive bugs came out. 

• EAB (emerald ash borer) will move only about one-half to one mile a year from infested sites. But people can carry it hundreds of miles when transporting firewood and other wood products or nursery stock.
